We have outlined below the information, introductory rates and options available to you to craft your program, event, workshop, class, or learning experience as your vision requires. GENERAL INFORMATION
Available for use in your studio rental (included in fee):
- Chairs: 14 folding chairs

(If you need more, please make advance arrangements to rent them)
- Yoga mats (7) , Yoga Straps, & Yoga Blocks
- 4 folding Tables- ( 4) 6 foot tables
- Easel & dry erase board with dry erase markers
Taxes: Hawaii State General Excise Tax 4.166% is applicable to all sales and will be charged to your rental rate.
Marketing: As an independent workshop/class presenter, you are responsible for filling your event and its success through the various means of publicity available to you. The Studio agrees place your flyer (and/or handbills) in our facility. With your permission we may also decide put your event in our literature about The Studio (if space allows and resources are available). In order to be included in our literature you must email us a copy of the class or event details. We may also ask you to provide us with digital versions (jpeg format) of your flyer and/or photos of the event or performer as well as their bio (200 word max) and/or a description of the workshop (100 word max) if we make arrangements with you to help promote your event. We may also list your event in any email notices being sent out to our customers and clients. The Studio will do our best with the resources we have to get the word out about the event you have booked with us, as we recognize that it takes both sides actively working together to strengthen the results that will lead to a positive outcome for all of us. However, your event is your responsibility and we anticipate that you will be doing all of your own marketing and registrations to create your class or event to be a great success.

POLICIES
DEPOSITS & CANCELLATIONS
Booking Deposits: To secure your booking and finalize the reserving of your dates of your choice we require a 50% deposit plus tax (half the total of The Studio rental plus half of any of the optional fees such as house manager’s fee, tech fee. This booking deposit must accompany a check written out to Questing Spirit, LLC for the security deposit (described below) and a signed copy of the attached Facilitator’s Agreement.
Security Deposit: An additional refundable Security, Key, and Cleaning Deposit of $50.00 for hourly or weekly rentals and $100.oo for daily rentals is required. This check will not be cashed unless there is a need for extra cleaning and/or damages incurred as a result of your class/event. The Security Deposit will be refunded to you within a week following your event (or 7 days from your last rental date in the case of weekly rentals) upon the Manager’s assessment at the end of the event (or on the next day) left that our facility is clean, any keys given have been returned, and everything is left undamaged. There is no deduction if the venue is left in as clean and orderly a condition as when you entered, and meets the satisfaction of the Manager. Please leave the facility in the same condition in which you found it. If damage is sustained and/or additional cleaning is required above and beyond the normal costs, The Studio will send you a refund check by mail minus the deductions with an invoice for charges within two weeks of your event. If is anything needed to restore our facility and supplies goes over the amount of your Deposit(s) you will be billed for them. The requirement of a security deposit may be waived only at the discretion of The Studio’s Director.
Cleaning & Repairs
If you do not clean up thoroughly ( see Cleaning Checklist) after your usage and it requires clean up from our staff, and/or if there is damage to the facility, costs of any additional hours and/or any repairs (labor and materials) will be deducted from your Security, Key, & Cleaning Deposit. If any repairs go over the amount of your Deposit(s) you will be billed for them.
Licenses: Renters shall be responsible for providing any legal licenses and taxes required for the production of their class, workshop, or event (at their cost).
Room Rental: Rates are subject to change without notice. Any already contracted special events rates will not be changed retroactively.
No Fire or candles of any kind allowed in The Studio. This includes but is not limited to candles, sparks, incense, torches, open flames, special effects, etc.
Emergencies: In case of an emergency of any kind please call Phillip or Ana Jones at 808-775-9172 or 808-896-9462 or 808-896-9463. Fire Extinguishers and a First Aid Kit are located inside The Studio main building. In case of fire or medical emergency immediately call 911.
Protecting our Floor: No shoes are allowed in the studio-- with the exception of soft leather-soled dance shoes. Carpet is available for a small extra fee and is recommended to protect the floors if a lot of chairs are going to be used for your class or event.
Food & Drink: No food is allowed in The Studio without written permission from The Studio Director. Non-Alcoholic Beverages are allowed in covered bottles.
